About
Local, honest, no upselling. Ask us a question, we'll give you a straight answer, not a sales script.
We trim hedges. We reduce overgrown ones. We reclaim the ones nobody has touched in years. And we do the tree work behind them - pruning, crown thinning, crown reduction and deadwooding - with the right approach for Rochester's mixed chalk and river-terrace ground.
That's it. We don't do lawn care, fencing, or the rest of the garden-services bundle. Hedges and trees are a craft worth being good at; we keep our focus narrow so we are.
Rochester's historic core sits inside a Conservation Area administered by Medway Council, a unitary authority that handles planning, environmental health and waste collection all under one roof (unlike most of Kent, which splits those between district and county). The Riverside regeneration area has brought new landscaping with young, formally-planted hedges alongside decades-old boundary hedges in Delce and Borstal that have never been reduced. A contractor from outside the area won't know the difference between the two without being told, and will quote them the same.
We work this patch every week. The Conservation Area paperwork is included. The species recommendations match what actually thrives on Medway valley ground, from the chalk above the river to the clay terraces below it.
